Taylor Swift broke yet another Guinness record when the lyric video of her latest single, "Look What You Made Me Do", garnered 19.5 million views, becoming the most viewed lyric video of all time in 24 hours! The Chainsmokers “Something Just Like This” from featuring Coldplay was the previous record holder with 9 million views in 24 hours! Swift released the first single off her sixth studio album “Reputation” at midnight early Friday morning, accompanied by the lyric video. Shortly after its release, the song racked up a total of 184,589 download sales, with the rest of Swift’s catalog up 98%. The single is expected to top 550,000 in sales alone! The song also shot up to the No. 1 spot on US and worldwide iTunes! A rep for Spotify confirmed on Saturday that Swift has set the new global first day streaming record for the platform with over 8 million streams for “Look What You Made Me Do.”

The official music video for “Look What You Made Me Do” will debut during Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards. Director Joseph Kahn already had to take to social media to defend himself against some fans’ comments that the teaser was very like Beyonce’s “Formation.”  The full “Reputation” album will drop on November 10.
